SCHOOL EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES: SOME NOTES TO UNDERSTAND SCHOOL IN THE CURRENT CONTEXT

Abstract

The text starts from the theoretical-methodological field of historical-dialectical
materialism and aims to analyze the school educational purposes present in the
Brazilian educational context and ask what is meant by school educational
purposes in the current context. This work was supported by bibliographic review
research. In the end, it is evident that thinking about school educational purposes
permeated by neoliberalism is essential in contemporary times, as it helps in
understanding education that is guided by neoliberalism, which shapes, through
the curriculum, the educational structure, thus determining the educational
purposes schoolchildren.
