YOUTH AND ADULT EDUCATION: EXPERIENCE REPORT FROM THE VIEW OF A STUDENT
Keywords:
EJA, Experience reportAbstract
This experience report generally addresses Youth and Adult Education - EJA and the main legal documents that guide it, such as the Federal Constitution of 1988, the Law of Guidelines and Bases of National Education of 1996 and the National Education Plan 2014/ 2024. The approach adopted was qualitative research and data collection took place through semi-structured interviews. It aims to expose the student's perception of his trajectory in EJA and to present, through speech, the real reasons that led him to interrupt his studies and years later to resume. The problem question chosen for this report was: What is the social role of EJA for those who did not have access to education at the appropriate age and search for new perspectives in life? The report establishes a dialogue with several researchers such as: Saraiva (2004); Viero (2007);Piconez (2002); Maya (2008); Ehrhardt (2008); Dawbor (2008). Finally, it is evident that the EJA has functions, being human and social, which makes it possible to fulfill the dreams of completing studies for those who did not have the opportunity.
