Abstract

This paper presents the experiences lived in the Supervised Internship in Teaching in Early Childhood Education, of the Pedagogy course, of the 6th Period, of the Universidade Estadual de Goiás – Inhumas Unit. The internship is the contact that students have with the time/space of their future profession, it is the moment to experience the theory/practice relationship. The project was developed in a Municipal Public-School Unit of Early Childhood Education, in a 2nd period class, morning shift, with approximately 28 children. The guiding theme was - Children as rights subjects, and was based on the book: The Children's rights, by Ruth Rocha. The project proposed to promote children's right to literature and to learn playing, valuing their autonomy and protagonism. The development of the project was guided by the literature. And, through storytelling, several activities were carried out with the children, which provided significant learning opportunities for both, the children and future educator. In the development of the project, it was observed that the involvement of children, group work and the mediation of the guiding teacher can contribute to promoting an education based on the conception of the child as a rights subject.
