Abstract

This article aims to reveal reflections on education through the reforms imposed on Latin America from the 1990 onwards, reforms that affect the social policies offered to the population, especially the most vulnerable. The neoliberal reform seeks to reduce public spending by the state with social policies offered to the population, accentuating a scenario of total inequality, offering education based on total quality with the intention of providing cheap labor for the labor market, favoring the ruling class , in a scenario of total exploitation of the dispossessed class. These neoliberal reforms imposed on the educational field see the school as a company modifying the work of school managers and consequently of all other professionals working in the school, the neoliberal model imposed on the manager transforms him into a manager in search of results, thus making it unfeasible the educational process based on the social and emancipatory quality that seeks to make the subjects critical and transformers of the current society.
