Abstract

This article aims to develop a study on teaching and learning in the school context through the interactive approach between teacher and student and student / student. The paper aims to question the changes that education has been undergoing over the years. Worked out this research during the Portuguese language classes at a senior class, from a public high school in Goianira Goiás. Starting from a didactic sequence, to try to fill the students' learning deficits, therefore, we approached the chronic and charge genre. We worked on three chronicles by Rubem Alves that in commom they have education, and a cartoon whose theme is education from 1969 to 2009, in this way the debate refers the transformations that education underwent over the years. We plan our classes with emphasis on verbal and nonverbal reading and the production of a dissertation. We urge students to reflective critical reading, considering the social context of the students. Our object of study was the writing of the essays, in which we analyzed and realized that it was possible to give students speech space, because Paulo Freire (1987) points out that we must change our ways of working in the classroom, and that one should not to work the traditional pedagogy in which only the teachers obtained voices, after all the exchange of knowledge is mutual. We use bibliographic research to support the analysis and discussion of data, having as theoretical support, Bakhtin (1979), Emilia Ferreiro (1987), Paulo Freire (1987), Pimenta (2005), Rubem Alves (2012). This research is qualitative of interpretative nature. The results obtained were surprising, because the students themselves realized how important the presence of parents in their children's education is, they understood that teachers are stereotyped, as a result of cases where some students do not get good grades.
