This research “Musicality in Early Childhood Education” carried out under the
guidance of teachers Me. Fernanda Maria Siqueira Tavares and Me. Karla Vitoriano e
Silva Almeida, at the State University of Goiás, West Campus - São Luís de Montes Belos,
had as its main intention to analyze the importance of music in Early Childhood Education,
through observations that were made during the internship period. The importance and necessity of the presence of musicality in Early Childhood Education was observed.
Musicalization in Early Childhood Education, as well as its influence on the teachinglearning process, prompted us to carry out this research, with the problem of discovering
how music in Early Childhood Education can influence the teaching-learning process.
Deepening the study of this theme, analyzing its importance, and how music influences the
development of children linked to learning processes in Early Childhood Education,
constituted the challenge that guided this research. This work was based on bibliographical
and documentary bases, such as: Brito (2003), Carneiro (2019), Nascimento (2018),
Oliveira (2019), Silva (2013), Silva (2017) and documentary base: BNCC (2017) ), LDB
(1994/96) and RCNEI (1998). In the course of this work, qualitative and theoretical actions
will be addressed with the aim of resolving the questions made about the following theme:
the influence of music in the teaching-learning process in Early Childhood Education.
