Abstract

Today's society is marked by the intense use of technologies, and they are present in
everyone's lives, even if to a greater or lesser extent. Given this context, several
studies focus on the use of these technologies in the classroom and how they can help
students obtain better results in their teaching-learning process. Thus, there was an
interest in understanding how these technologies can be used within the literacy
process of students in a school environment. The objective of this research is to
analyze how it is possible to use technologies within the literacy process. For this,
bibliographical discussions were used based on authors such as Vagheti, Santos and
Minuzi (2020), Vieira (2013), Menezes (2019), among other authors who discuss the
theme proposed in this research. The discussions showed that technologies can and
should be used in the student's literacy process, helping not only to master reading
and writing skills but also putting them face to face with everyday issues, helping them
to solve problems. And to make these skills develop based on real situations.
