AVALIAÇÃO EM CUIDADOS PALIATIVOS E AVALIAÇÃO AMPLA EM GERIATRIA DENTRO DE UMA LIGA ACADÊMICA DE SAÚDE COLETIVA: RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA

Abstract

It is evident in today's society, especially in Brazil, that little has been discussed about the importance of
Palliative Care (PC). According to Farias (2020, p. 53), this way of caring had already gained strength in
several countries in Europe and in Brazil, and gained ownership from the 1990s with the creation of a palliative
philosophy at the Escola Paulista de Medicine. At another time, other needs related to public health are
necessary for the humanization of the system. The objective is to present a report of activities developed in an
academic League, about palliative care and broad evaluation in geriatrics with emphasis on the aging process
presented in the format of a seminar. from the health area who participate in an academic collective health
league (LASC-Fac+). The collective health academic league is multidisciplinary and multi professional within
a private institution of higher education and was developed between September and December 2022 on a
fortnightly basis, under the direct supervision of the teaching coordinator, comprising a workload of 40 hours. We conclude that the integration of contents and courses converge to a close relationship between them;
increasingly enriching the various areas of knowledge focused on public health.
