The use of dental implants as a treatment alternative has progressively increased in
recent years, along with prosthetic rehabilitation. Due to the variety of implants and
prosthetic components available on the market, the correct selection for each clinical
situation is essential. The objective of this work was to demonstrate, through a clinical
case, the treatment sequence of the confection of two single implant-supported
metallo-ceramic crowns with cone morse connection, emphasizing: the benefits of the
cone morse system, emergency and temporary profile, molding technique,
advantages and disadvantages of each types of prostheses. Moreover, through this,
it is aimed to highlight, based on the literature, the importance of these factors, as well
as the materials and methods used. However, the present study demonstrated that it
is possible to obtain functional and aesthetically favorable implant-supported metalceramic prostheses when the perception of the patient's desire is combined with good
communication between the dentist and the dental technician.
